Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Kathryn worked in Emergency Medicine for 6 years as a Registered Nurse. She worked in rural hospitals and on the reservations here in New Mexico. Having lived through many of her family members battling with addiction, she knows first-hand how difficult it can be for family to walk through those challenges with their loved ones. She believes that the work that Ancora is doing is so crucial to maintaining a sober lifestyle while integrating back into the community. She is thrilled about the opportunities these services have given so many. Kathryn looks forward to assisting in creating even more opportunities for people to get their second chance.

In her free time, Kathryn loves to spend time with her husband Adolfo and her two daughters Alanna and Lilah, and her mother Melissa. They enjoy traveling, trying new foods, giving back to the community, and playing outside together.
